Hello, I'm Jon, a 21-year-old creative individual embarking on an exciting journey in the world of creative media. I began my exploration during my time in school, where shortly after, I completed a Pearson BTEC Level 2 Technical Diploma in Digital Games Production. Building on that foundation, I pursued a BTEC Level 3 90-credit Diploma in Creative Media Production at Access to Music Bristol. Eager to expand my knowledge and skills further, I continued my studies at the City of Bristol College, specializing in UAL Games, Animation, and VFX Level 3.
Recently, I completed a BTEC HNC in Game Design, Animation, and VFX Level 4, and my next endeavor will be the BTEC HND in Game Design, Animation, and VFX at Collage Green, followed by a year Uni. This path will eventually lead me to achieve a (BA)Hons degree in animation.
As an ambitious and diligent individual, my passion lies in producing creative media for games and animation. Specifically, I am drawn to 3D modeling, creating animations using Blender and Unreal 5, and video editing. While these are my primary interests, I am constantly expanding my skill set by learning other software applications such as Unreal Engine 5, After Effects, Photoshop, and Premiere Pro. I strive to stay up-to-date with the latest technology and make the most of online resources to enhance my projects.
Being someone with ADHD, I find creative endeavors captivating, and I see inspiration in virtually everything. I am always on the lookout for new opportunities to broaden my horizons both personally and professionally. My overactive imagination fuels my natural storytelling ability, which I am eager to further explore. This mindset serves as my motivation, propelling me forward into the vast and competitive world of the creative industry. Ultimately, my goal is to find fulfillment in a career that allows me to enjoy every day—an aspiration that drives me tirelessly.
On a more personal note, I would like to share a bit about myself and my favorite pastimes. Gaming is a true passion of mine, and I particularly enjoy titles such as Subnautica, Resident Evil 2 and 7, Snowrunner, Red Dead Redemption 2, Ark: Survival Evolved, and Dead by Daylight, among many others. Additionally, I am an avid cinema-goer and possess a deep interest in film and TV. The Star Wars and Marvel franchises hold a special place in my heart, and I relish the experience of watching new series on Disney Plus. However, I also appreciate timeless classics like Rocky and James Bond. When I'm not immersed in the world of media, I find solace in nature and enjoy walking in picturesque settings. Exploring different cultures through travel is a dream of mine. Furthermore, I occasionally indulge in cooking and love experimenting with recipes, particularly when it comes to creating omelettes, chilies, and curries.
